MEET CASSIDY ANN (FOUNDER)

Hi, my name is Cassidy Ann. Thank you for coming to learn about my studio. I am a passionate mental health advocate. As a teacher, I share a practice built around balance with a strong focus on breath work to aid mental health.

I want to start by acknowledging Yoga is a spiritual practice from South Asia. I am grateful for the teachers who shared their knowledge with me so that I may share it with others.

This space is to help share the knowledge and experience I have gained in a trauma-informed way to guide you closer to yourself. Spending time on the mat and learning from people wiser than me, my greatest takeaway is this:

your relationship with yourself is paramount to your relationship with others. fill yourself with love, and that love effortlessly spills over.

PURPOSE OF NAYDI YOGA STUDIO

To share the beauty of this practice and encourage you to discover the power of your own life force, your prana. We will aim to work together through the 8- limbs of yoga towards a holistic approach to health. Conversations regarding yoga philosophy and the 8 limbs of yoga will be frequently discussed and infused into sessions. Find a recommended reading list on GIVING BACK to learn more.

WHY PRIVATE YOGA CLASSES?

I know I was so anxious before walking into my first yoga class - all I knew was seeing people doing crazy balancing and contortion poses on Instagram. Let's just say, I was intimidated. PRIVATE CLASSES are offered to remove some of that pressure, and in order to create a customized experience specifically aligned to your unique goals.

HOW ARE THE ROOTS OF YOGA HONORED?

Yoga means unity or to unite, in its most simple translation. Community is such an important value for us here at Naydi Yoga, which is why a portion of all proceeds are dedicated to participating in mutual aid. To see where funds are currently going, please visit our GIVING BACK page.

WHAT IF I'M NOT FLEXIBLE?

Yoga is for all people, all bodies. If you can breathe, you can do yoga.

I incorporate the use of props regularly into a session to keep our bodies safe, and help find a pathway to maximize the benefits of each asana. If you have specific accommodation requests or questions, please visit our CONTACT page
