Uniquely focused on your goals, a 60 practice is taught to help strengthen the union between mind and body by connecting breath to movement.

PRANAYAMA

Breathing classes teach how to harness the most powerful tool - the breath to help find grounding, dissipate anger, generate confidence, lessen anxiety, or facilitate boldness -- the power of the breath is truly expansive.

YOGA NIDRA

also known as yogic sleep - imagine the ultimate state of deep relaxation or rest. This is a time for a true nervous system and physical body reset.


MEDITATION

Approachable meditation offered through a three-step process incorporating tools to anchor the mind.

ASANA $55/hr

Perhaps you're looking for grounding skills, to increase mobility, or to build strength - Let's work together to build a yoga practice to target your goals.

What a typical session looks like:

  • welcome and setup

  • joints warmup

  • meditation & pranayama

  • full body warm up

  • asana practice specific to your goals, and body

  • cool down

  • meditation & pranayama

  • savasana

PREPARE for class with comfortable clothes, a mat, (optional: a cushion to sit on if you like).

If you don't have any of these items, please let me know in advance and I can bring them for you to use. I will provide blocks and a strap.

PRANAYAMA $50/hr

The breath is the most powerful tool we have - and it is always accessible. Our goal is to learn how to access and utilize it.

We will practice traditional yogic breathing techniques, called pranayama, designed to have a nuanced impact over time and immediately noticeable effects.

What a typical session looks like:

  • welcome & setup

  • joints warmup

  • full body warmup

  • introduction of techniques

  • practice techniques

  • meditation

  • savasana

PREPARE for class with comfortable clothes, a mat, and a cushion to sit on (a cushion is optional)

YOGA NIDRA $50/hr

Everybody who says savasana is the best part of a yoga class - I'm talking to you! Come experience the transformative restoration of a yoga nidra practice. Here we focus on nurturing ourselves and giving ourselves valuable rest.

This class uses a few more props and will operate a bit differently that other studio classes. The purpose of these sessions is to replenish and find rest. Yoga nidra is said to provide the same benefits as a full 6 hours of sleep.

What a typical session looks like:

  • welcome and setup

  • joint warmup

  • full body warmup (very mild & gentle)

  • lie down on setup

  • rest


PREPARE for class with: a mat, pillows, blankets, and really comfortable clothes.

MEDITATION $50/hr

If you are feeling like you would love to meditate but don't know how to get started, this is it! The journey to meditation was such a struggle for me but it doesn't have to be for you. We will work together to apply principles from yoga practices, Buddhist philosophy, and western psychology techniques to create a custom meditation plan.

As a neurodivergent person, the guidelines of sitting still and not thinking weren't helpful while I was learning. Be prepared to explore moving meditation, mantra chanting, candle gazing, and various other techniques to anchor the mind.
