M Y S T O R Y
Hi! My name is Cassidy Ann, and welcome to Naydi Yoga.
I am so passionate about sharing yoga because it transformed the way I interact with myself and the world around me. Feeling a joyful peace during the highs and lows of life felt unattainable until this practice.
I spent over two decades struggling with severe mental illness. I tried everything - pharmacological care, psychotherapy, neurologists, psychiatrists - you name it, I had likely tried it. Yet I still suffered immensely.
Yoga had been recommended throughout my time seeking treatment, and it wasn't until I felt out of other options that I honestly gave it a go.
I finally surrendered to my stubbornness and curiously dove into yoga in 2016. What a radical, life-changing decision that was. I anticipated finding a way to stay "chill". What I received was training about tools and resources that existed within myself, which possess a powerful capability of self-healing. Through this practice, I was given a connection with myself, others, and my community.
Over the years, I have lived in an ashram in India, received intensive training in Sri Lanka, and adapted to virtual study during COVID while cultivating a profoundly impactful personal practice.
I am so grateful to have found this practice and look forward to sharing it with you.
